METRIC MEASURES

 

Metric measures refer to the concepts relating to the meters or measurements. It relates to the measurement of distance, mass and capacity. We use these measures in daily life when we say 500m to Allahabad, 30cm Ruler, 1kg Mangoes, etc.

In this chapter we will learn about:

  • Units of length, mass and capacity
  • Conversion of higher units to lower units and vice-versa.
  • Mathematical operations on metric measures
