Creating a Tutor Profile

There are just five easy steps in creating a powerful tutor profile. However, you must have signed up on Kapdec and have created a teacher account.

Once you have signed up then follow the steps as listed below:

Step 1: Select Instructional Language

Start by choosing the language(s) you will use to teach your students.  You can select more than one.

Step 2: Qualification

In the qualification section, list the degrees that you have earned.  Make sure you enter the full name. To enter more than one Degree just click on the “ + “ icon.

Step3: Your Introduction

In this step, tell your students who you are!

begin with a profile headline – In short, it your personal brand slogan. So choose a creative yet easy to remember.

Part two of the introduction is profile description:

This is a section where you can use your creative writing skills to summarize your professional journey in fewer than 100 words.

But it’s important to be truthful. Writing false narratives might attract one student, but they may not stay long. As a teacher, build a genuine and impactful profile.

Step 4: Profile Picture

Next, add the profile picture. It will add life and authenticity to your profile. Profiles with no pictures or avatars don’t get much attraction.

Step 5: Awards and Affiliations

Finally, don’t forget to add your awards, professional affiliations, and any achievements you have earned.

Now you can click on “View Profile” – this is exactly how it will appear to others.

You can edit any section and once fully ready – you can share with your network and also create classes to get students.
