How to Connect Your Bank Account with Kapdec to get Tutoring Services Payout

Purpose: To receive payouts for your tutoring sessions
Kapdec uses Stripe to securely process payments and send your earnings directly to your bank account. You must complete the Stripe setup before you receive payouts.
Step-by-Step: Connect Stripe on Kapdec
Step 1: Log in to Your Account
- Go to Kapdec.com
- Click Login
- Enter your credentials
Step 2: Go to Your Account Settings
- After logging in, click your Profile Icon (top right corner)
- Click Account
- Scroll down until you see the section labeled ‘Setup Account’
Step 3: Click ‘Setup Account’
- Under the Setup Account section, click the Set Up Account Button
- You will be redirected securely to Stripe > wait for the secure link to appear. It may take 2-3 seconds to appear
Step 4: Complete Stripe Setup
Option A: Create a New Stripe Account
– Enter your email
– Create a password
– Provide required details (legal name, DOB, address, bank account, tax info)
Option B: Log in to Existing Stripe Account (this option is applicable, if you have previously established Stripe Account)
– Log in
– Authorize Kapdec to connect to your Stripe account
Step 5: Complete Identity Verification
Stripe may ask you to upload identification, verify your bank account, or confirm tax details. This is required for compliance and security.
Step 6: Confirmation
Once completed, you will be redirected back to Kapdec. Your Setup Account section should indicate that Stripe is connected.
How Payouts Work
- Students book and pay for sessions
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe
- Earnings are transferred to Kapdec Escrow account > this is paid out once the sessions are delivered
- Payout timing typically ranges from 2–7 business days, after the completion of the planned session package as selected and paid by a student
Troubleshooting
I don’t see the ‘Setup Account’ section
– Ensure you are logged in as a Tutor
– Click Profile Icon → Account
– Scroll down fully
The Stripe page does not load
– Disable ad blockers temporarily
– Try another browser
– Clear cache and cookies
Stripe says my account is restricted
– Log into your Stripe dashboard directly
– Upload any requested verification documents
Setup shows incomplete after finishing
– Refresh the Account page
– Log out and log back in
– Wait a few minutes for synchronization
